Overview
This position will take responsibility for design, development and product management of all front office functionality within the PALADYNE™ product suite, specifically the trading system that combines capabilities for trading both FI and EQ securities and managing complex portfolios. This next generation system is fully developed in .NET Win Forms with heavy usage of advanced .NET technologies. Applicant needs to be a responsible individual capable of running his/her own projects but work closely with a diverse development team and systems users. Financial Services experience is a must with preference of previous involvement in trading system design and implementation, market data connectivity, and third party trading system integration.
Responsibilities
- Manage development of trading systems
- Design, develop and lead other developers in future system releases
- Work closely with traders on new functionality requirements
- Work with third-party service and tools providers
Prerequisites
- 7+ Years of Development experience on Microsoft technologies with 1-2 years of .NET development
- Proficient in MS.SQL 2000 technologies
- Excellent knowledge of FIX protocol and working experience with FIX engines (Appia is big plus)
- Solid knowledge of Market Data technologies (Reuters, Bloomberg)
- Good Understanding of financial instruments and trading strategies
- Ability to lead a team and manage product's lifecycle
